A Legacy of Service Spanning Four Generations

Ayaan Kohli
Sitaram Scholars was born from a deep commitment to honoring the legacy of Sita and Ram, my great-grandparents whose lives were defined by service, compassion, and an unwavering belief in the power of education to transform lives.
Doon Public School in Haridwar was my great-grandfather's mission — a school he built from the ground up so that children from all backgrounds could receive a quality education. For four generations, our family has been dedicated to keeping this vision alive.
Through Sitaram Scholars, I sponsor the education of underprivileged children at Doon Public School, staying actively involved in their journey — visiting the school, meeting students and teachers, and ensuring every donation creates real, lasting impact.
This isn't just a charity — it's a family legacy that I'm honored to carry forward.

Growing up, I was deeply inspired by the stories of the generations before me who dedicated their lives to helping others. I knew about my great-grandfather's school — Doon Public School — but it wasn't until I visited in person that I truly understood the urgency of this work.
Walking through the classrooms, I saw incredible students full of potential and determination. But I also saw the gaps — children without access to basic healthcare, no dental hygiene education, and limited medical support. These were bright kids being held back not by a lack of ambition, but by a lack of resources.
That visit was a turning point. I realized that education alone wasn't enough — these children needed holistic support. That's why Sitaram Scholars doesn't just fund tuition. We're building programs for healthcare access, nursing services, dental awareness, and community health education.
Every child we support represents not just an individual success story, but a ripple effect that will impact their families, their communities, and future generations.

These are the faces that inspire our work every single day.
Providing healthcare services with empathy, dignity, and respect for every individual we serve.
Educating and empowering communities to take charge of their health through awareness and prevention.
Maintaining the highest standards of medical care and professional healthcare service delivery.
Healthcare is a fundamental human right, yet millions in India lack access to basic medical services. Rural and underserved communities face critical shortages of healthcare professionals, particularly nurses who provide essential day-to-day care.
Dental health awareness is critically low in India, leading to widespread oral health problems that affect nutrition, education, and overall wellbeing. Many people have never received basic dental hygiene education or access to preventive dental care.
Preventive healthcare education saves lives. When communities understand nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, and early warning signs, they can protect their health and seek timely medical intervention.
Through our comprehensive healthcare programs, full-time nursing services, and dedicated health awareness initiatives, we're working to bridge these gaps and create healthier, more resilient communities.
We are personally committed to ensuring that every donation is used effectively and transparently to support the education of underprivileged children at Doon Public School in Haridwar.
We regularly visit the school, meet with students and teachers, and stay actively involved in the program. Your trust and support mean everything to us, and we take this responsibility seriously.
Together, we are not just changing individual lives — we are honoring a legacy and building a brighter future for generations to come.
